USD 373 and Newton High School announce the hire of Scott Stuhlsatz as an Assistant Principal for the 25-26 school year.
Stuhlsatz has his Bachelors of Science in Health Management (Physical Education) from Bethel College, a Master of Education in Special Education from Wichita State University and his Building Leadership certificate from Wichita State University.
He has been in education since 2001, with 19 years spent in USD 373 including at Santa Fe, Chisholm, Eby Learning Center and most recently, Opportunity Academy.
“While I will miss the team we created at Opportunity Academy, it was time for me to make the next step in my educational career. Newton High School is big enough to offer many different programs and activities for students, yet small enough to feel a real sense of community,” Stuhlsatz said.
Stuhlsatz has endorsements in Building Leadership (K-12), English Language Arts and Mathematics (Grades 5-8), Special Education, Behavior Disorders (Grades 7-12) and Health and Physical Education (Grades K-12).
“I am grateful to work alongside Chad, Emily, and Julie, as they have already made me feel so welcome. I look forward to working with the wonderful counselors, teachers, staff, and students at NHS,” Stuhlsatz said.
Welcome to NHS, Mr. Stuhlsatz! #RailerPride
