You are invited to come to a night of music and fun celebrating the arts! The Fine Arts Booster Club is hosting our first Concert in the Park event on Saturday May 30 from 7-9pm. We will be featuring local artists with the hopes to inspire our youth to continue to keep the arts in their future whether as a full time career or as a part time activity. Local artists include high school junior Nic Bergman, South Breeze principal Joey Menninga, Engineering teacher and wrestling coach John Werner, and the Flannelbacks who have connections to Newton and teach in Goessel. Tickets are available for pre-sale at $6.00 at this website: Concert in the Park. We will also have a variety of school and community groups selling food to enjoy during the concert. Gates open at 6:15pm and the concert will start at 7pm. We hope you will join us in a musical evening!
